At My GI & Great Doctors, we specialize in the comprehensive management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Our dedicated team is committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients. Below is an overview of some of the common diseases we address and the procedures we offer:

Common GI Diseases

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Characterized by stomach acid entering the esophagus, managed with medications or, in some cases, surgical intervention.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): A common condition causing abdominal discomfort, treated through various methods including dietary adjustments and medications.

Liver Disease: We address a range of liver conditions, offering tailored management plans depending on the underlying cause.

Barrett’s Esophagus: Patients with long-standing reflux may develop precancerous changes in the esophagus. We conduct regular gastroscope examinations to monitor and treat these changes, along with recommending medications to manage reflux.

Celiac Disease: An immune-mediated condition triggered by gluten consumption, leading to small intestine damage. Treatment involves a lifelong gluten-free diet, along with regular monitoring and gastroscopy assessments.

Colonic Polyps: Detected during colonoscopy, these growths are removed to prevent the development of cancer. Advanced techniques may be required for larger polyps, and surgical intervention may be necessary in certain cases.

Crohn's Disease: A chronic inflammatory bowel disease affecting various parts of the GI tract. Diagnosis involves colonoscopy and subsequent management typically includes medication to control inflammation.

Diverticulosis: Common in older adults, this condition involves the development of small pockets in the colon lining. While often asymptomatic, complications such as bleeding or infection may occur.

Eosinophilic Esophagitis: An immune-mediated disorder causing swallowing difficulties, managed through dietary changes and medications, along with endoscopic procedures to alleviate symptoms.

Gallstones: These can lead to gallbladder pain or complications such as pancreatitis. Treatment may involve surgery or specialized procedures for stone removal.

Pancreatic Cyst and Mass: Detected through imaging, these require close monitoring and, in some cases, specialized procedures for diagnosis and treatment.

Small Bowel Bleeding: For patients with unexplained anemia or GI bleeding, we offer advanced imaging studies to identify and address sources of bleeding.

Ulcerative Colitis: Another form of inflammatory bowel disease requiring diagnosis through colonoscopy and ongoing management to control inflammation and prevent complications.

Common GI Procedures

Colonoscopy: Allows thorough examination of the lower GI tract, often used for biopsy and polyp removal.

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP): Utilized for accessing and treating conditions in the bile and pancreatic ducts.

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS): Provides detailed imaging of the GI tract and adjacent organs, allowing for biopsies and diagnostic interventions.

Enteral Stenting: For patients with obstructive GI cancers, stenting can relieve blockages and improve quality of life.

Gastroscopy: A procedure for visualizing the upper GI tract, often used for biopsy and intervention.

At My GI & Great Doctors, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care and personalized treatment plans for all our patients. Your health and well-being are our top priorities.
